I have 16 days before I leave for Germany. Isn't that crazy? I am rediculously excited and scared half to death. I've already said a few goodbyes, but the whole "leaving for a year" hasn't quite hit me yet. After all, it's only one year.
At this moment you are somewhere over the Atlantic. I hope you are sleeping, and reasonably comfortable, and that the transfer in Frankfurt goes smoothly. Post a note when you can about your experience of the travel and arrival.
